SHANDESH TURNS INTO A CANCELLED STORY THIS YEAR
In a shocking turn of events, music industry leaders are calling for Botswana Entertainment Promoters Association (BEPA) to decide on taking immediate action and release a formal statement condemning Shandesh’s uncalled-for behavior.
A statement from Gilbert Seagile says her actions are not only unacceptable but also go against the standards of professionalism expected in our industry.
Seagile urged BEPA to suspend Shandesh for a period of two years and to launch a public campaign aimed at discouraging event promoters and organizers from booking her during this time.
He says allowing such behavior to go unchecked sets a dangerous precedent. “It’s time for BEPA to lead by example and uphold the values we all stand for.”
