This is the only race in South Africa that offers cash prizes to young children. We invite all Primary Sub-Youth athletes in the U10, U11, U12, and U13 age categories, especially middle-distance athletes who took part in school athletics events such as the 800m, 1200m, and 1500m to take part in this exciting opportunity.
The 1 Mile race will start at 07:40, after the 21.1km, 10km, and 5km races have started. The mile race is open to everyone, but cash prizes will only be awarded to Primary Sub-Youth athletes.
