TZANEEN-A lift from Tzaneen Town turned into a nightmare drive from hell on Saturday, July 3 for a woman who was gang-raped.
The 26-year-old female from Zimbabwe alleges that she was hitchhiking at Tzaneen town R71 road Sasol garage to go to her residence when a blue private car pulled over and the three gentlemen offered her a lift.
To her surprise, they drove with her to an unknown location.
She alleges that they put her in a house where she was guarded by a woman armed with a firearm.
The three men drugged and gang-raped her every day up until Thursday, July 22 where she woke up and found herself in the bushes without shoes somewhere at Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga.
A case of abduction and rape was opened and the suspects are still at large.
